John Moreton - Chairman | Print |  Email
With a strong track record in building successful companies and management teams internationally, John has over 30 years’ experience in the formation and management of a diverse range of companies across the marketing, manufacturing and service sectors including Southern Cross Healthcare Group, which is now the largest European long-term care operator, with over 30,000 employees. John is a founder, shareholder and director of GDCM.
 
Michael Evans - Chief Executive Officer | Print |  Email
Michael qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst Young and subsequently worked at Esso and The Wellcome Foundation. He originally became involved with software as a user and developed a keen interest in the sector. This exposure led him to take a job with Comshare, one of the pioneer companies in the Business Intelligence field. Starting in a sales capacity in London, Michael ended up as a director based at the companies headquarters in Michigan, running The Financial Applications Division.

Michael returned to England in 1996 and set up Analyst Financials Ltd (AFL), a Business Intelligence software house, specialising in Reporting and Budgeting solutions. Michael ran AFL as Managing Director until its sale to an American company in 2005.
 
Alex Moreton - Support Director | Print |  Email
Alex has been with GDCM since the foundation of the company. As Support Director, Alex is responsible for GDCM's customer support department, internal technology requirements and company security.

He brings seven years experience in the IT support and technology procurement fields, with a proven track record of delivering customer satisfaction.
 
Lee Moreton - Business Systems Director | Print |  Email
Lee co-developed GDCM's leading-edge product range to address the lack of tools available to manage datacenters and optimise their efficiency. He has seven years' datacenter experience focusing on process automation and increasing utilisation and control. As Business System Director, Lee specialises in application development strategy and provides technical consultation for GDCM products.

Prior to GDCM, Lee was Datacenter Manager for UBS Investment Bank (Perot Systems Europe). In addition to datacenter management, analysis and senior management reporting, he also oversaw procedure and system development for datacenter management processes, which was rolled out globally (London, Switzerland, Americas and Asia). He was also involved in the global tools steering committee.

Lee has also worked as a systems analyst for NatWest Commercial Services and holds a Bachelors Degree in Management Studies (BMS).

Lee is a founder, shareholder and director of GDCM.
 
Robert Neave - Chief Technology Officer | Print |  Email
Robert co-developed GDCM's leading-edge product range to streamline datacenter management practices and maximise IT assets. Robert concentrates on business requirements analysis and definition for GDCM products. He brings eight years' experience in datacenter management and business process definition to the company.

Prior to GDCM, Robert was Datacenter Manager for UBS Investment Bank (Perot Systems Europe). In this role he formed the company's datacenter management systems, datacenter design, business process analysis and procedure writing. This was in addition to overseeing global project management and the rollout of datacenter management function and systems to London, Switzerland, the Americas and Asia.

Robert has also worked for Equitrac UK providing cost charge-back systems for Legal firms.

Robert is a founder, shareholder and director of GDCM.
 
Owen Nisbett - Finance Director | Print |  Email
Owen brings twenty years of financial experience gained from both a commercial and professional perspective. He was most recently the Group Chief Financial Officer of a New Zealand based aviation company. His responsibilities included the additional role of CEO of the company's helicopter leasing division. Prior to this Owen was an audit manger with BDO Stoy Hayward, London.

Owen holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (NZ) Degree and is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants
 
Tim Bunting - Non-Executive Director | Print |  Email
Tim Bunting joined Balderton as a General Partner in 2007. He was previously a partner of Goldman Sachs where he spent 18 years. At Goldman, Tim held various roles including Global Head of Equity Capital Markets (2002 to 2005) and Vice-Chairman of Goldman Sachs International (2005 to 2006). Tim is a non-executive director of Yell Group plc and Sepura plc., he is also a Governor of Wellington College and a Trustee of the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity.
 
Iain Duncan Smith - Non-Executive Director | Print |  Email
The Rt Hon Iain Duncan Smith MP was born in 1954. Before entering Parliament Iain served in the Scots Guards for six years. He has also been a businessman - working in defence and publishing sectors, before entering Parliament.

Elected in 1992, he was appointed to the shadow cabinet in 1997 when William Hague became Conservative leader. He held the social security and then the defence portfolios under William Hague.

He was elected Conservative leader in September 2001 - at the time of the 9/11 attacks on America. He stood down in October 2003 and established The Centre for Social Justice, the aims of which are the promotion of the small charity community sector. He has published a novel "The Devil's Tune" and seven pamphlets.
 
Bernard Liautaud - Non-Executive Director | Print |  Email
Bernard Liautaud is one of Europe's most successful technology entrepreneurs. He founded Business Objects in 1990 where he held the role of CEO then Chairman until January 2008. Business Objects was the first European software IPO on Nasdaq in 1994. In January 2008, Business Objects was acquired by SAP for $6.7 billion, making it the third largest software acquisition at the time. Bernard is also a member of the SAP Supervisory Board.
